Cassie Carrasco,
LPC
My name is Cassie Carrasco, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I love supporting others as they rediscover their wholeness and pursue growth.
I started my clinical training in outpatient for addiction and mental health. I spent the next several years working at in-patient centers and a group practice. I opened my private practice, TherapyWell, in 2023. I chose the title TherapyWell because I wanted to create a space where therapy and wellness can come together. I believe in a whole person approach. People are complex. We are family members, professionals, friends, neighbors and an individual. I aim to help individuals grow in all areas of their life while using therapeutic modalities.
The modalities I use are cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, Gestalt and polyvagal theory. I am an advanced trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy. I have been working with adults with trauma for the past five years. During my time working in inpatient setting I developed a women’s trauma psychoeducation group and facilitated trauma recovery treatment for men and women. Currently, I see clients in my practice and my work is focused on trauma recovery.
While I was developing psychoeducation programs, I found I enjoyed teaching others. This has led me to creating continuing education programs for professionals. I aim to work with clinicians and other professionals to cultivate clarity, growth and sustainability in their personal and professional lives. Through continuing education retreat workshops, and guided reflection, I create opportunities for self-discovery, skill development and confidence. My clinical work emphasizes supporting people in discovering their strengths, integrating all parts of themselves and building a greater balance and fulfillment in their lives. People leave with practical tools, deeper awareness, and the confidence in their own work.
Through my own journey and clinical experience, I offer a unique depth of empathy and insight to those I serve. I once believed I had reached a dead end in my life. But I found a way through-and now I strive to help others discover their own path out. It started with a passion and grew with professional training.
