Intern in Counseling

Megan will become a Resident in Counseling after graduating from William & Mary with her M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling June 2025. She has experience providing counseling to college students and working with children and teenagers across a variety

 of settings.


Megan’s approach to counseling is person-centered, which means she strives to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered. Megan also incorporates a range of evidence-based techniques tailored to each individual’s needs,

 drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, narrative therapy, and play techniques. She is also committed to using trauma-informed practices and meeting clients with compassion and respect, wherever

 they are on their healing journey.


Whether working through anxiety, trauma, identity exploration, or life transitions, Megan believes in the resilience and potential of every person she meets. She is passionate about supporting children, teens, and young adults as they navigate life’s challenges.
